5.1.8 - Order of Adjective
In many languages, adjectives denoting attributes usually occur in a specific order. Generally, the adjective order in English is:
- Quantity or number
- Quality or opinion
- Size
- Age
- Shape
- Color
- Proper adjective (often nationality, other place of origin, or material)
- Purpose or qualifier
ACTIVITIES
Arrange the following into a sentence according to the order of the adjectives

(i) a green silk sari
(ii) a grey old tin box -
(i) a black crooked crow
(ii) sat on the blue marble statue. -
(i) a strange white parrot
(ii) the dark blue sky -
(i) The little mango tree
(ii) was cut by the big iron saw. -
(i) a tiny yellow bird
(ii) sang a big magical song.
